Sandblasting is a time efficient and cost affective way of removing paint, mill scale, rust, or any other unwanted coatings or contamination from a surface. We are able to be used in many applications and are able to use various types abrasive media, to name a few: iron or coal slag, crushed glass, glass bead, garnet, and crushed walnut shell. Blasting abrasive selected to be used is based on surface preparation needs, type of surface such as steel, iron, concrete, wood, etc., and what is being removed.
Soda Blasting is similar to sandblasting, however sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is used. Baking soda is a very low abrasive and is safe to use around windows, chrome, wood, fiberglass, along with many other surfaces. Soda blasting is a great way to remove smoke, soot, mold and mildew from a surface and great deodorizer.
